A single point of contact for users, KAZ’s service desk underpins all of our other managed services. We provide a range of service levels – from business hours to 24x7. When calls need to be escalated to senior staff or third-party vendors, the service desk uses advanced incident tracking technologies to quickly resolve issues.
Data Centre Hosting
With more than 20 years in hosting, KAZ offers high levels of expertise combined with state-of-the-art, secure data. We offer a variety of availability, connectivity and security options to suit different needs and budgets. We also provide high-speed links from client sites to our data centres to support business continuity efforts, as well as direct connection to the IP backbone. While certified in all major platforms, our staff are specifically trained in individual client operations. Co-location
KAZ provides controlled power, data services and other facilities to ensure the uptime of the equipment, but clients own and manage their servers.
Our existing clients use co-location services for primary and secondary systems such as airline reservation systems or market-leading consumer information portals. Facilities are available in all capital cities, with secondary sites for disaster recovery available in Melbourne and Sydney.
Dedicated Hosting
KAZ provides pre-configured Intel or Unix systems based on Dell,HP or IBM hardware and built on a standard operating environment. We maintain the server hardware and operating systems but clients are still responsible for managing applications. We already host business-critical systems for a large number of ASX 200 companies and online retailers.
Managed Hosting
This service accommodates large, complex and business critical systems. KAZ can manage the entire server environment including IBM zSeries (mainframe), IBM iSeries (formerly AS/400), Windows, Unix and Linux systems and applications. Clients or their service providers can handle application management, lease equipment from us or use their own hardware. Many organisations use this service for their most vital applications, for example, an internet banking site for a major local bank. Managed hosting services include a variety of management options.
Server & Storage Management
We manage clients’ server hardware both physical and virtual and operating systems as well as storage area network and network-attached storage systems. Our service can maximise availability and performance of client infrastructure for a lower total cost of ownership.
Applications Management
We deliver application management services to support applications providing activities including administration, maintenance and support activities. All of these services are underpinned by rigorous SLAs, and the highest levels of security and performance management.
Desktop Management
This service includes technical support for almost any end user device, application or data including office and personal peripherals. We maintain the hardware, operating system, application and user data, including the development and management of SOEs, configuration changes, antivirus software updates and operating system patches of both traditional and virtualised environments.
Database Management
KAZ manages clients’ database environment to a range of service options ensuring agreed levels of availability and performance are delivered.
Security Management
We work with clients to develop policies that maintain the physical and virtual security of their IT systems. We implement and manage security environments using technologies including firewalls, virtual private networks, antivirus and content filtering, authentication and identity management systems and biometrics.
